About Us

Helping You Build a Life Beyond Anxiety
Specialized Treatment for OCD, Anxiety, and Phobias

Licensed in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia

Leila Jelvani is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She supports individuals experiencing panic, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, specific phobias, and OCD.

Anxiety and OCD often create cycles of avoidance and overthinking that feel exhausting and hard to break. Therapy focuses on helping you step into what you’ve been avoiding and build confidence in your ability to handle uncertainty. The goal is not to eliminate anxiety completely,
but to help you live fully even when it shows up.

Her work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. Together, these approaches help you develop practical
tools that support meaningful, lasting change. Leila believes therapy works best when it feels collaborative, steady, and genuine. She partners
closely with clients to clarify what matters most and to move forward at a pace that feels challenging but manageable.
